... GIS DATA BASE FOR INTEGRATED WATER MANAGEMENT ...

Data availability is essential to develop approaches that allow integrated water management for monitoring freshwater resource changes. In this context it is necessary to have the disposal of tools that allow storaging and processing of the overall data related to the groundwater resource.

To achieve this goal, a digital geographic database to store, update and display data from alluvial, fissured and karst groundwater systems, and to show their relationship with the other elements of the water cycle is needed. This data management tool permits the implementation of surface hydrology, hydrogeological, hydrogeochemical, karstic and anthropic features involved in water resource management available from different sources (national and local authorities, consultants, etc.). Its dynamic structure allows updating and checking of data in real time, automating data storage, management procedures as well as time-series analysis and the production of detailed hydrogeological maps.

... GROUNDWATER DEVELOPMENT SCHEMES ...

GSA specializes in designing and preparation of proposals for small and large Groundwater Development Schemes based on the client’s requirements and the area’s potential, detail synthesis of the hydro-technical and social data including demand and potential scenario is conducted. Services are also provided to develop Groundwater Models to predict behavior of the system under different sets of operation. In our approach, we place emphasis on retrieval and analyses of all types of water resources data, for its authenticity to simulate in the model.

The development of the model domain is based on full conceptualization of the environment with satisfactory calibration with known data.

Our services also include complete involvement in water supply schemes i.e. test drilling, logging, water sampling, designing, tube-well installations, development & testing. Also construction and supervision of the transmission lines of civil structures of particular project.

... HYDROLOGY & MONITORING NETWORK ...

GSA is rich in experience for conducting feasibility studies on the schemes of artificial recharge for area with low ground water potential. We carry out detailed water balance studies’ using hydrological model software’s so as to identify the most feasible location of recharge dam site, effective to retain the seasonal flow which will add to the storage of ground water to the target user. Our studies also include detailed geological mapping of the dam axis and identification of burrow areas to mine rocks as construction material of the scheme.

GSA also specializes in preparing designs to establish monitoring network in both ground water and surface water system. Services are carried out for sediment studies in the reservoir and bathymetric survey using sophisticated instruments like GPS & Total Stations echo Sounders, on the existing hydraulic structure.
